Strengthening International Collaboration in Medical Education, Research, and Geriatric Care
The Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences had the distinct honor of welcoming Prof. Dr. med. univ. Calin Gurguta, a distinguished specialist in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Palliative Medicine, with extensive academic, clinical, and leadership experience gained in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland.
During his visit, our faculty members had the opportunity to benefit from Professor Gurguta’s valuable expertise in geriatric medicine, internal medicine, patient-centered care, and healthcare management. His broad experience in clinical leadership and hospital administration provided important perspectives on the future development of healthcare services and medical education.
The meeting resulted in the establishment of concrete directions for future collaboration in medical education, scientific research, and clinical cooperation in geriatrics. These initiatives aim to foster joint projects, academic exchanges, and collaborative activities that will contribute to the training of future healthcare professionals and the advancement of geriatric care.
The discussions highlighted the importance of international partnerships and the exchange of expertise in addressing the challenges of an aging population and the evolving demands of modern healthcare systems.
